摘要: The rising incidence of postoperative periprosthetic femoral fracture (PFF) presents a significant clinical and economic burden.A detailed understanding risk factors is required in order to guide preventative strategies.Different stems have unique characteristics management strategies must be tailored appropriately.Consensus regarding treatment PFFs around well-fixed lacking, but revision surgery may provide more predictable outcomes for unstable patterns fractures polished taper-slip stems.Future research should focus on implant-related factors, concurrent metabolic bone disease the use large endoprostheses.
