摘要: Background and purpose There have been no published studies assessing the possible association of medical comorbidities with periprosthetic fracture risk. We therefore assessed whether comorbidity is associated risk fractures after total hip replacement (THR). Material methods used prospectively collected data from 1989–2008 in Mayo Clinic Total Joint Registry for 2 cohorts: primary THR revision THR. The main variables interest were Deyo-Charlson at time surgery. Outcome was p ostoperative postoperative day 1 onwards.
