摘要: Previously, we demonstrated the utility of a gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) method for quantitative determination asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) in biological samples. Here report extension this to symmetric (SDMA) human urine. SDMA and ADMA were simultaneously quantitated urine by using their situ prepared trideuteromethyl esters as internal standards. The GC-MS/MS was validated spot samples 19 healthy adults. In these samples, creatinine-corrected excretion rate 3.23±0.63 μmol/mmol 3.14±0.98 ADMA.
