摘要: Locally addressable backlights allow the contrast of LCDs to be improved while simultaneously reducing power consumption. for optimal performance, associated video processing algorithms should prevent backlight structure from appearing in front-of-screen (FOS) image. We present several algorithmic developments that improve spatio-temporal consistency image and clipping panel, thus substantially improving FOS performance.
