摘要: We present the polarization detections in DR 21(OH) from both thermal dust emission at 1.3 mm and CO J = 2 ? 1 line obtained with Berkeley-Illinois-Maryland Association array. Our results are consistent prediction of Goldreich-Kylafis effect that is either parallel or perpendicular to magnetic field direction. The detection polarized over a more extended region than polarization, while provides an aid resolving ambiguity polarization. combined suggest direction therefore major axis 21(OH). strong correlation between suggests fields remarkably uniform throughout envelope cores. dispersion position angles implies strength plane sky about mG, compared 0.5 mG inferred for line-of-sight previous CN Zeeman observations. data also show MM power high-velocity outflows v 25 km s-1 relative systemic velocity.
