摘要: To compare coronary plaque size and composition as well degree of artery stenosis on Computed Tomography angiography (CCTA) using three levels iterative reconstruction (IR) with standard filtered back projection (FBP). In 63 consecutive patients a clinical indication for CCTA 55 plaques were analysed. Raw data reconstructed FBP 2, 4 6 commercially available IR algorithm (iDose4). CT attenuation noise measured in the aorta two arteries. Both signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) calculated. The amount lipid, fibrous calcified components mean cross-sectional luminal area analysed dedicated software. Image was reduced by 41.6 % (p < 0.0001) SNR CNR improved 73.4 72.9 at level 6, respectively. objective image quality measures more than Furthermore, had no significant effect measurements volume area. application significantly improves quality, does not alter quantitative analysis volume,
