摘要: Purpose To determine the influence of dose reduction on coronary calcium scoring using hybrid and model-based iterative reconstruction (IR) techniques. Methods Fifteen ex vivo hearts were scanned in a phantom representing an average adult person at routine three levels reduction; 27, 55 82 % reduced-dose, respectively. All images reconstructed filtered back-projection (FBP), IR (iDose4, 1, 4 7) as well model (IMR, 2 3). Agatston, mass volume scores found with iDose4 IMR compared to FBP (routine dose) objective image quality. Results With remained unchanged reduced dose. Agatston differed significantly dose, level 3 7, 1–3 7. The maximum median difference was 5.3 %. Mass while lower (maximum 5.0 %). Objective quality improved IR, CNR 7 similar reference CNR, resulted even higher CNR. Conclusion Calcium not affected by radiation-dose low IR. increased Therefore has potential reduce up
