摘要: OBJECTIVE. The objective of our study was to assess a protocol carotid atherosclerosis coupling vascular wall imaging and luminal in the same examination evaluate accuracy high-resolution MRI with neurovascular coil plaque characterization.SUBJECTS AND METHODS. Thirty-two consecutive patients 34 artery stenoses were prospectively enrolled. performed on 1.5-T unit. Plaque assessment starting diffusion-weighted sequence followed by fat-suppressed T1-weighted sequence; after contrast-enhanced MR angiography (CE-MRA), all evaluated 3D sequence.
