摘要: Abstract Objective Development of a fast 3D high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) protocol for improved carotid artery plaque imaging. Methods Two patients with atherosclerosis disease underwent MRI which included time-of-flight and T 1 -weighted variable flip angle, fast-spin-echo (FSE) imaging, pre- post-intravenous gadolinium-based contrast agent administration. Results Good quality images intrinsic blood suppression were obtained post-contrast administration using FSE sequence. The burden, lipid core volume, hemorrhage volume fibrous cap thickness well determined. Conclusions MR TOF can achieve high isotropic resolution, large coverage, excellent image within short acquisition time.
