摘要: Context and Aims: Anthropometric measurements can easily reflect the nutritional status of an individual. The purpose this study is to investigate magnitude obesity undernutrition based on body mass index (BMI) direct, derived anthropometric variables, among college students Kolkata. Subjects Methods: Anthropometry generally considered as single most obtainable, inexpensive, non-invasive method that reflects composition. A total 100 male aged 18-22 years different undergraduate colleges Kolkata have participated in study. profiles (a 24 direct variables) including weight, height, waist, hip circumferences were measured. Results: Results showed 14.68% studied population are underweight, 9.25% overweight, 0.89% obese, per BMI. present report higher prevalence normal BMI (75.16%) students, whereas was almost found absent participants.
