摘要: Background: The people residing in coastal areas of Visakhapatnam are mostly engaged fishery, which is always been a physically demanding job, and numerous factors have direct or indirect impact on the health fishermen; but, data about their physical fitness status quite scanty. Thus, present study was conducted to assess cardiorespiratory pattern, as well morphometric characters, may be influenced by occupation. Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, 25 young fishermen (mean age 22.8 ± 1.92 years) were randomly selected from Araku valley District, Andhra Pradesh compared with subjects who college students 21.9 2.25 Kolkata, West Bengal. Some physiological variables including height, weight, body mass index, surface area, anaerobic power, energy expenditure measured along characters. Results: Analysis indicated significant difference blood pressure, expenditure, fat percent power among controls. However, there no changes characters between two groups.
