摘要: The ViaB region required for Vi antigen production in Salmonella typhi was cloned. plasmid pGBM124 containing a 14-kb S. thypi chromosomal DNA fragment conferred the ability to produce on Escherichia coli HB101 and ViaB-deleted GIFU10007-3. Tn5 insertion analysis showed that split into three regions. Region 1 2 are involved biosynthesis of polysaccharide. 3 is translocation polysaccharide cell surface. Southern blot hybridization regions but not 1, were considerably homologous Vi-positive Citrobacter freundii.
