摘要: In this article, we reflect on the experiences of project to develop and evolve User Interface Markup Language (UIML), starting from its origin in 1997. We have two objectives our discussion. First, suggest one possible vision a community researchers practitioners working Open Description Languages (UIDLs), what they could achieve, how can help transition knowledge society. Second, relate lessons learned UIML hope that other UIDL may avoid issues stumbling blocks encountered along way.
