Solving the Mapping Problem in User Interface Design by Seamless Integration in IdealXML

摘要: The mapping problem has been defined as the way to map models involved throughout development life cycle of user interfaces. Model-based design interfaces followed a long tradition establishing and maintaining mappings between them. This paper introduces formal definition potential with its corresponding syntax so create uniform integrated framework for adding, removing, modifying cycle. For first time, can be established from any source model target model, one or many, in same formalism. Those include task, domain, presentation, dialog, context use, which is itself decomposed into user, platform, environment. IdealXML consists Java application allowing designer edit at element but also establish set mappings, either manually automatically based on model.
