摘要: We consider an allograft-prosthesis composite in the proximal tibia one of better reconstructive options this site because it combines mechanical stability a prosthesis with biologic reconstruction extensor mechanism. retrospectively reviewed 62 patients who had reconstructions composites to ascertain complications and functional outcomes. By combining allograft prosthesis, placing cement graft, press-fitting tibial diaphysis, we obtained satisfactory Musculoskeletal Tumor Society scores 90.4% patients, 5-year survival rate (73.4%) comparable that modular prosthesis. However, observed high infection rates (24.2%) rotation medial gastrocnemius seemed not reduce complication. For reason, do recommend using technique will receive postoperative chemotherapy or whom previous method failed. believe ideal candidate is young patient benign aggressive malignant low-grade tumor has undergone surgery.
