摘要: Sweat losses during tennis can be considerable. And while most players make a genuine effort to stay well hydrated maintain performance and reduce the risk of heat illness, regular copious water intake is often not enough. Besides an extraordinary loss, extensive sweating lead concomitant large electrolyte deficit too — particularly for sodium. Although variety other mineral deficiencies physiological conditions are purported cause muscle cramps, evidence suggests that, when player cramps in warm hot weather, repeated current previous matches consequent sodium usually primary contributing factors. Heat begin as subtle “twitches” or fasciculations one more voluntary muscles and, unless treated, rapidly progress widespread debilitating spasms that leave afflicted on court writhing pain. If sufficient preventive measures taken before play, such cramping avoidable cases. Appropriate salt fluid will enhance rehydration distribution throughout player's body, so completely averted, even long challenging environments.
