摘要: The tests used to obtain the stiffness properties of wood are made with two loading cycles, as defined by Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 7190 (Design Timber Structures). However, possibility reducing number cycles allows decrease operating time machine, resulting in reduced spending on electricity during tests. This research aimed investigate, aid analysis variance (ANOVA), influence use three load modulus elasticity compression parallel grain (Ec0), tensile (Et0), bending (Em) and perpendicular (Ec90) Angico Preto (Anadenanthera macrocarpa) specie. For were manufactured 12 samples, totaling 144 specimens. results ANOVA revealed statistical equivalence between for both cycle numbers evaluated, indicating that it is possible carry out a single charge cycle, allowing savings energy operation equipment.
