Luminescent properties and energy transfer mechanism from Tb3+ to Eu3+ doped in Y3Al5O12 phosphors

摘要: Abstract The structural and luminescent properties of Y3Al5O12:Eu,Tb (YAG) compounds produced by a modified sol-gel method using glucose as polymerising agent are investigated in this study. X-ray diffraction is utilised order to analyse the formation crystalline phase. excitation emission measurements from photoluminescence excited optical luminescence (XEOL) measurements, which strongly influenced concentration Eu3+ Tb3+ dopants. absorption spectroscopy (XAS) measured at Eu LIII–edge confirm valence. results indicate good stability ions YAG structure when submitted higher ionising energies. chromaticity diagram indicates that, with different molar ratios ions, it possible obtain white-light emission. In addition, observed that amount dopant/co-dopant leads changes phosphorescent decay time.
