摘要: Knee Osteoarthritis (OA) is a progressive degenerative joint disease affecting the quality of life elderly population. There considerable evidence that nutraceuticals from natural herbs may play significant role in inflammation and destruction OA. We review current status some commonly used Indian market - Boswellia, Aflapin, Chondroitin sulphate, Glucosamine Collagen peptide, Curcumin, Fish Oil, Ginger, Green tea, Rosehip extract. have summarized their mechanism action, biological effects, toxicities efficacy management These supplements been found to be effective knee OA various studies. No serious side effects reported for any these supplements. Overall, our study identifies support use provide symptomatic relief patients with justify as an adjunct therapy management. More good trials are needed definitive answers questions related safety prevention treatment.
