摘要: In growing animals, requirements for many nutrients (and energy) are determined by the retention of these nutrients. During growth, this changes in an absolute way and also between energy, resulting changing nutrient requirements. The objective study was to describe chemical composition male turkeys. serial slaughter technique used determine amino acids, lipid, ash, water feather-free body (FFB) feathers turkeys offered feed ad libitum from 1 15 wk age. Allometric relations were composition. feather content decreased 6% at age less than 3% protein FFB with increasing mass, allometric scalars (b) of, respectively, 0.967 0.970, whereas lipid increased mass (b = 1.388). water, protein, ash fat-free constant represented, 71.6, 24.2, 4.2% mass. acid relatively only Cys age, Ile increased. Feathers mostly composed did not change during growth. Lys, Met, Trp, His, Tyr, Asp, Glu contents decreased, Cys, Val, Ser contribution whole-body ranged 5% His 33% Cys. On average, weight gain contained 21.3% 12.7% corresponding energy 10.1 kJ/g. 87.4% 20.4 results present can be a factorial approach
