摘要: In recent years, metabolic engineering has been applied successfully for improvement of various fermentation processes. However, even single genetic changes usually result in multigene responses, which make it difficult to predict and understand the effects introduced changes. This is a direct consequence complex regulatory systems redundancy control pathway fluxes. Challenges therefore, involve multiple often complete pathways. For this reason involves studies on cellular physiology reconstruction networks. Analytical techniques employed functional genomics enable global, whole-cell view have thus become invaluable strategies. These allow understanding complexity metabolism insight into modifications introduced.
