摘要: A probiotic can be defined as ‘a viable mono- or mixed culture of microorganisms which, applied to animal man, beneficially affects the host by improving properties indigenous microflora’ (Havenaar and Huis in ’t Veld, 1992). This implies that term ‘probiotic’ is restricted products which (a) contain live microorganisms, e.g. freeze-dried cells a fermented product; (b) improve health status man animals exert their effects mouth gastrointestinal tract (e.g. included food administered capsules), upper respiratory (aerosol) urogenital (by local application).
