摘要: Abstract A molecular beam with translational energies ranging from 0.07 up to 1.6 eV, is scattered a Ag(111) surface. From the measured angular TOF spectra we have determined corresponding distributions and mean of particles. At an incident energy about eV angle incidence 38°, find that distribution O 2 much more broadened than it for Ar, CO NO, loss substantially higher found recently NO [1,2]. Both enhanced width scale normal energy. The can be explained by scattering corrugated surface corrugation larger e.g. Ar or sets in at few tenth eV. Although show modified cube-models are useful, also compared our experimental results classical trajectory calculations. differences between CO, , indicate except collision induced internal excitation electronic effects may important.
