摘要: Reflected density distributions of argon and neon scattered from the (111) plane a silver crystal have been examined at incident energies 0.06 to 2.5 eV. Two regimes scattering were detected in which characteristic properties reflected distribution, direction width, reverse their behavior as function energy. This confirms recent theoretical work Oman, wherein he characterizes two thermal structure scattering. The data suggest that, for energy Ei angle θi, transition one type interaction other is characterized by critical value Eicosθi. For argon, this near 0.21 eV 0.108 At these velocities are nearly identical. given angle, maximum degree supraspecular exists, less than argon.
