摘要: Osteonecrosis, also known as avascular necrosis, ischemic and aseptic is not a specific disease entity. It rather condition in which circumscribed area of bone becomes necrotic result the loss its blood supply. The most common cause trauma, displaced fracture or dislocation results mechanical injury to local vessels. However, many etiologic factors unrelated trauma have been identified. femoral head region often affected, but proximal humerus, condyles, small bones hands feet may be involved. Despite considerable progress study this condition, there still much learned about etiology, pathogenesis, treatment.
