摘要: This paper is concerned with the diachrony of passivization in Papiamentu. While it generally held literature that Papiamentu a non-native 19th century borrowing from Dutch and Spanish, this argues fact an original, native feature grammar. With purpose, use auxiliary-less passives Early (19th / early 20th century) texts illustrated analyzed detail.
