摘要: The authors have constructed a Pr/sup 3+/-doped fluoride amplifier (PDFA) module pumped by an Nd-YLF laser. maximum signal gain and noise figure were 20 dB 5 respectively. An output power of 19.2 dBm was achieved at input 11.0 dBm. It confirmed that this PDFA has low-noise characteristics from experimental results on its use in subcarrier multiplexed multichannel AM-VSB video transmission.< >
