摘要: Publisher Summary Measurements of L-subshell conversion line intensity ratios are used to deduce the multipolarities nuclear γ-transitions. Conversion coefficients depend primarily on character multipole field and static parameters such as transition energy, charge, size nucleus. The selection rules governing interaction between converting electron different inside outside volume. For highly retarded γ-transitions, inhibit process volume but not latter contribution is enhanced. chapter reviews experimental studies penetration effects process. wave functions differ widely for shells. from depends strongly initial final states electron.
