摘要: It is well established in the literature that feeding free vegetable oils rich oleic acid results greater milk fat secretion than does linoleic-rich oils. The objectives of these experiments were to analyze effects and linoleic when fed form full-fat soybeans interaction between soybean particle size fatty (FA) profile. Soybeans included diets on an iso-ether extract basis balanced for crude protein using meal. Experiment 1 used 63 cows (28 primiparous, PP; 35 multiparous, MP) housed a freestall barn with Insentec roughage intake control gates (Marknesse, Netherlands). Cows divided into 4 mixed parity groups within same pen. Two assigned each 2 diets: whole raw Plenish (WP, high oleic; Dupont-Pioneer, Johnston, IA) or conventional (WC, linoleic) soybeans. MP exhibited significantly increased yield WP diet compared WC diet. A C18 FA by was observed those WC, but no difference present C16 short-chain yield. No seen PP cows. 20 (10 PP, 10 5 × Latin squares parity. received diets, ground (GP GC, respectively), low control. significant benefit found GP GC concentration In experiment 2, consuming produced less diets. resulted more
