摘要: Abstract In 1988, Proctor and Coleman applied lubrication theory to the problem of slipping on floors wetted with water methods commonly used in Great Britain for assessing pedestrian slip-resistance. The role surface roughness footwear soles was evaluated, it shown that measurements taken by existing instruments are open misinterpretation. Research since 1988 has been reviewed generally support earlier position. Some popular misconceptions also discussed.
