摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the new double-multiple streamtube model that can simulate either conventional Darrieus rotors or oval-trajectory variable-geometry. capability allows it to treat more general cases and expands spectrum of analysis for turbines design. prediction aerodynamic performance noncircular trajectory with variable blade-positioning angle. was developed predict a new-concept turbine whose most remarked characteristics are high number blades low rotational speed. The variable-geometry ones. Based on these characteristics, steamtube developed. includes angle β, trajectory-shape coefficient CF, wind orientation φ. reference frame is length trajectory.
