摘要: As described in Chapters 3–6, four nickel-dependent enzymes have been isolated and characterized from various microorganisms—urease, hydrogenase, CO dehydrogenase, methyl coenzyme M reductase. In addition, specific accessory proteins identified as being involved the functional incorporation of nickel ion into urease hydrogenase. Intracellular processing functions may also be needed for metallocenter assembly dehydrogenase synthesis nickel-containing F430, a component These aspects microbial metabolism will not repeated here. Rather, this chapter focus on transport cell, toxicity resistance mechanisms microbes, other features related to metabolism.
