摘要: The application of photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS) to detect culture contamination in chemostats was studied. It found that the presence a given particle size population particles different could be detected, but this ability strongly dependent on difference and most sensitive when contaminants are larger than host. inherent polydisparity actively growing dividing microbial cells negates any advantage use multi-angle PCS contaminants.
