摘要: Magnetic resonance velocity mapping is a new technique which provides display of within the cardiovascular system at any point cardiac cycle. A short field echo sequence with even rephasing used to obtain signal from rapidly moving blood and cine provided by rapid repetition sequence. The amplitude image shows anatomy, giving high areas turbulent flow no signal. phase map velocities each in plane. Thirteen cases are described either diagnosis or helped functional assessment. Flow through atrial ventricular septal defects was seen, although distal shunts led some loss quantitative information. In three patients valve disease jets abnormal were seen because it suggested that size area turbulence may be quantify severity regurgitation. Velocities measured four coronary artery bypass grafts two patients, low graft supplied infarcted territory. Velocity reduced an aortic coarctation increased site narrowing caused thrombosis deep vein. speed direction central vessels patient complex congenital heart establish anatomy. useful information wide range disorders system, avoid need for invasive investigation.
