摘要: A relationship between pemphigus and internal malignancy has been recognized for a long time. Some authors have suggested that patients with greater incidence of malignancy, perhaps related to immunosuppressive treatment, 1 while others noted strong statistical association both thymic nonthymic neoplasms. 2 Immunoglobulins isolated from tumors shown reactivity similar intercellular substance antibodies by indirect immunofluorescence. 3 The importance these findings was unclear until Anhalt colleagues 4 published their seminal observations regarding five distinct blistering disorder underlying malignancy. Serum samples obtained all showed unique banding patterns immunoprecipitation corresponded autoantibodies desmoplakins I II, the major bullous pemphigoid antigen, an as yet unidentified 190-kd protein. Clinical included eruption stomatitis conjunctivitis. Treatment results were disappointing, four known die disease.
