摘要: A high prevalence of HIV infection is present among men who have sex with (MSM) in China, but many people living or AIDS (PLWHs) are unaware their status. Provider-initiated testing and counseling (PITC) a streamlined model that can significantly enhance detection detect infections earlier. However, PITC has not yet been widely applied, no studies conducted on MSM's attitudes towards China. In this study, total 438 MSM were recruited Shenyang city. multivariate logistic regression showed certain conditions made more accepting PITC: those had attended VCT (voluntary testing) than three times (odds ratio [OR]: 2.95, 95% CI: 1.36-6.37), considered beneficial for family friends (OR: 1.91, 1.25-2.92), obtained HIV/AIDS knowledge from brochures 2.52, 1.64-3.87), the Internet 1.66, 1.07-2.58), highly aware own risk being infected 2.84, 1.37-5.91). To improve acceptance stronger efforts needed to lower psychosocial barriers receiving PITC, promote awareness, encourage extension testing.
