摘要: Health is frequently in the news, whether it “bird flu” headlines or woven into core of climate change reports. And these articles, health common thread that connects humans, animals, and environment; however, this underlying link often undervalued, leaving a “gap” challenges our ability to prevent mitigate major global catastrophes. The Ebola virus disease has ravaged West Africa, swath devastation unanswered questions its wake, but highlights alarming potential zoonotic disease, one hundreds pass between animals humans. Climate continues fuel controversy, undeniable exploitation Earth impacting fundamental resources form foundation existence. state ecosystems integral conservation sustainable management wildlife natural resources. environment cannot be segregated from own health; thus, we need examine stance.
