摘要: Cardiac tissue loss is one of the most important factors leading to unsatisfactory recovery even after treatment ischemic heart disease. Melatonin, a circadian molecule with marked antioxidant properties, protects against ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury. In particular, myocardial protection melatonin substantial. We initially focus on cardioprotective effects in IR. These studies showed how preserves microstructure cardiomyocyte and reduces IR Thereafter, downstream signaling pathways were summarized including Janus kinase 2/signal transducers activators transcription 3, nitric oxide-synthase, nuclear factor erythroid 2 related 2. Herein, we propose clinical applications several diseases. Collectively, information this review (based vitro, animal, human studies) should serve as comprehensive reference for action cardioprotection hopefully will contribute design future experimental research.
