Tamoxifen flare in advanced endometrial carcinoma.

摘要: Tamoxifen citrate has recently been shown to be effective palliative therapy in advanced endometrial carcinoma. Flare reactions from tamoxifen are well known treatment of metastatic breast carcinoma and not an indication for stopping therapy. We report a patient being treated with cancer who developed acute abdominal pain as manifestation flare reaction the significance this observation.
