摘要: The United Nations Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 is a key initiative within global efforts to halt and eventually reverse the loss of biodiversity. very first target this plan states that "by 2020, at latest, people are aware values biodiversity steps they can take conserve use it sustainably." Zoos aquariums worldwide, attracting more than 700 million visits every year, could potentially make positive contribution target. However, evaluation educational impacts zoos entirely lacking in existing literature. To address gap, we conducted large-scale impact study. We used pre- postvisit repeated-measures survey design evaluate literacy-understanding knowledge actions help protect it-of zoo aquarium visitors worldwide.
