摘要: Virtually unheard of outside the struggles unions to establish themselves in 1880s-90s and Great Depression, lockouts have resurfaced a series disputes since decentralisation bargaining during 1990s. A quantitative profile past decade enterprise is presented as first phase project which examines Australia. Lockouts are still rare, but number working days lost with was almost six times greater for second half-decade than half-decade. Moreover, accounted over half long (i.e. month). especially common manufacturing (though all major ANZSIC categories had at least one lockout), where they constituted quarter industrial bargaining.
