摘要: Those concerned with acoustic cavitation often use different measures and nomenclature to those who employ ultrasound for medical purposes. After illustrating the connections between two, phenomena are divided into two classes: (1) relatively moderate amplitude changes in bubble size that occur during each cycle, as rectified diffusion resonant motion, (2) rather dramatic radius one cycle. It is seen pulse-echo diagnostic equipment can excite whereas continuous wave therapeutic will slower, but no less important, changes. The ranges of variables material states which these possible quantified. shown concept an ultrasonic (energy) dose may be appropriate effects acoustically induced heating or motion. inappropriate when discussing transient type from short, high pulses.
