Short- and long-term risks after exposure to diagnostic ultrasound in utero.

摘要: A total of 425 children exposed to diagnostic ultrasound at three Denver hospitals during the period May, 1968, through August, 1972, and 381 matched control were studied for adverse effects birth again a special examination between seven 12 years age. Apgar scores, gestational age, head circumference, weight, length, congenital abnormalities, neonatal infection, infection measured birth. At measurements included conductive nerve hearing, visual acuity color vision, cognitive function, behavior, complete detailed neurologic examination. No biologically significant differences unexposed found.
