摘要: Despite the long tradition of technical mitigation on a catchment scale in European mountain regions, losses due to hazards are still considerably high number and monetary loss. Therefore, concept had been supplemented by land-use planning and, more recently, local structural protection. Local protection includes measures directly implemented at or adjacent endangered objects, has proven be particularly cost-effective with respect integral risk management strategies. However, effect reducing vulnerability elements risk, associated consequences reduction have not quantified so far. Moreover, there is particular gap quantifying expenditures necessary for measures. prototype residential building adapted presented this study. This equipped various constructional resist incurring impact forces, i.e., fluvial sediment transport snow avalanches. According possible design loads emerging from these hazard processes, constructive presented, amount additional costs required such an adaptation presented. By comparing quantitative loss data it shown that effective reduce low-magnitude, high-frequency events regions.
