Family involvement in residential treatment.

摘要: Social policy stresses the importance of family's continuing involvement with members in residential placement. We studied families 163 children and adults treatment their programs. Parent staff reports family showed high agreement. The average had 21 contacts annually members; these related only marginally to extent residents' There was no evidence detachment, a lessening over time. Multiple regression found three variables that accounted for 52% variance contacts: higher less distance from facility, greater expectations member would return home, lower levels mental retardation. Implications findings increasing were discussed.
