摘要: Abstract The effect of sodium silicate as a depressant for calcite is examined in the flotation phosphatic material containing and siliceous gangue using oleate collector. Maximum apatite occurs at pH 8, whereas which floats best varies with particle size. At 8 9, depresses to some extent beyond 1500 g/t (2·10 −3 M ), depression more pronounced higher but recovery correspondingly low these values. Selective action on surfaces can be seen from analysis pulp liquid. However, range 7–11 any concentration, no significant selectivity between achieved. influence concentration behaviour are discussed detail.
