摘要: Abstract Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is an age-dependent dementia characterized by progressive loss of cognitive functions and characteristic pathological changes in the brain: formation aggregates extracellularly β-amyloid (Aβ) peptide intracellularly tau proteins. The presents several major diagnostic difficulties: (1) AD develops slowly; (2) analysis damaged brain tissues difficult, requiring a biopsy which poses ethical problems; (3) no biochemical markers are available for diagnosis monitoring progression. Since cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) contact with extracellular space brain, many studies have tried to correlate levels intrathecal peptides amino acids development dementia. present review analyzes main results content analyses light pathogenic theories proposed explain damage associated observed patients postmortem examination.
