摘要: P63 is a member of the p53 family. This protein crucial for maintenance stem cell population in human epithelium and necessary normal development all epithelial tissues including mammary glands. In breast tissue, p63 seems to be specific myoepithelial marker. expression has been described highly aggressive ER negative basal-like tumors. The value positive disease less clear. levels mRNA by Affymetrix microarray analysis combined cohort 2,158 cancers its prognostic predictive impact were analyzed. Tumor samples containing large amounts benign which will interfere with measurement, excluded prior analysis. Survival revealed better prognosis cancer expressing (n = 410; P < 0.036). No correlation standard parameters was observed. subgroup analysis, endocrine-treated patients high showed than low (P 0.06; n 186). untreated patients, this effect clear 148; 0.5). factor might influence responsiveness endocrine treatment. Thus, could helpful as therapy.
