摘要: Interplanetary scintillation (IPS) observations are used to investigate the distribution of microscale density fluctuations in high-speed solar wind streams. A new technique for estimating electron power spectrum which can be applied when is grossly inhomogeneous presented. This requires accurate knowledge radio source structure, situ measurements velocity, and well-calibrated IPS observations. The estimation algorithm data obtained during 1973 1974 was dominated by recurrent fast It found that has a law exponent α ≈ 3.2 decreasing low-velocity regions steepens its level increases enhanced precede such streams, it remains steep into high-velocity regions. average these 4.1. from this analysis consistent with estimates via other techniques.
