摘要: Background and aims This study aimed to examine associations between risk factors suggested in the pathway model proposed by Billieux et al., demographic substance use variables, problematic smartphone (PSU). Methods The analytical sample consisted of 5,096 Swiss men (mean age = 25.5 years, SD = 1.26). Multiple linear regression analyses were conducted with PSU as dependent following independent variables: (a) Billieux’s variables (depression, social anxiety, ADHD, aggression–hostility, sensation seeking); (b) [alcohol: at-risk risky single-occasion drinking (RSOD); volume drinking; tobacco use: daily smoking; illicit drug more than weekly cannabis use; having used at least one other besides over preceding 12 months]; (c) sociodemographic (age, language region, education). Results All pathway-model except seeking significant predictors PSU, especially symptoms anxiety (β = 0.196) ADHD (β = 0.184). At-risk RSOD was positively (β = 0.071) associated whereas both frequent (β = −0.060) cigarette smoking (β = −0.035) negatively PSU. Higher-achieved educational levels being from German-speaking part Switzerland predicted PSU. Discussion conclusions The findings this can be develop tailored interventional programs that address co-occurrence certain behaviors (e.g., PSU) target individuals who might particularly prone Such interventions would need ensure addressing problem decreasing does not lead some compensatory behavior smoking).
